Swansea Law Society

Welcome to our website and, through it, to Swansea Law Society.

Swansea Law Society was originally formed in 1879 to serve our members in the Swansea area. SLS provides a forum for support and advice and promotes professional development and expertise. We communicate regularly with members via e-mail and consult on the major issues which arise and affect the profession.

We hold a number of social events including an annual Dinner every November and a Cocktail/Drinks Party in the Spring. On the sporting front, SLS holds golf matches, have a cricket team and a walkers group. Our Junior Lawyer section is particularly active and holds regular social functions. Money is raised for local charities at our social events and on other occasions such as sponsored runs, walks and at quizzes.

SLS actively considers consultation papers from the National Law Society and Ministry of Justice and responds whenever required.
